Our Story
eWindowshop.com provides an online marketplace for retailers and shoppers, in a world where the more unique stores are harder to find. We believe that the web has been one of the single-greatest advents for small, unique stores. Believe it or not there are thousands of amazing online stores. But sometimes, they can be hard to find among all the other "amazon"-sized stores out there. It is our goal to help bring those fabulous places to you.
We present a collection of the finest, most interesting boutiques and specialty shops on the web.

We at eWindowshop.com understand how busy people are these days. We also know that technology has made us more sophisticated shoppers. Internet shopping works great when you can just type in the exact name of a product you are trying to buy for your father on Father’s Day? But what if you don’t know what to buy? What if you have to browse around and get some ideas?
Why do we call ourselves eWindowshop.com?
This is the experience that we are hoping to create for you on the web - - Window Shopping. We present a selection of stores based upon a certain category or theme, and you get a quick “peek” or introduction into what each store has to offer. If you decide it might just be interesting enough to check out, you can “enter” the store. Now we haven’t quite yet mastered the “beam” or transporter device that they used to have on Star Trek (though let’s be honest, how cool would that be…). By “enter” we mean that you will be immediately directed into that store’s online website. Shop around as long as you like. All our store links offer a marketplace where you can purchase the goods online. When you are finished, you can come back to us and continue down the street you were strolling down. Pretty neat huh? We like to think so. Think of eWindshowShop as “where to go, before you know."
How to Shop on eWindowshop.com:

Interested in vintage goods, be it linens, clothing, furniture or stationary? Look no further.
As Seen In – Do you have a favorite magazine that reflects the stuff you like to buy? Perhaps you came across a site in a magazine you read somewhere. Maybe we have it listed here! See if we have it cataloged out by clicking on a certain publication. (This feature is currently under development. Register and we'll be sure to let you know when it is up and running.)
Location – Were you just shopping in Seattle and you came across the coolest items at this little boutique? Check out our map of the U.S., click on Seattle and see if they have a site. (This feature is currently under development. Register and we'll be sure to let you know when it is up and running.)
Where do we come from?
eWindowshop.com was literally born from a stack of magazines. Now, we are not just talking about your regular coffee table stack… not even your doctor’s office stack. We are talking about a woman, with a serious phobia of throwing away magazines because she was afraid she would not be able to find some piece of information from an issue published 2, 5 even 10 years prior. Well, being of somewhat sane (and dare we say savy…) mind, she decided to make an excuse to keep them.
From them, she started to catalog every great website that was referenced in them. From cooking magazines to the latest on fashion; from keeping your home to Popular Mechanics, she searched for interesting sites and researched them to find out how to give shoppers a quick insight to what these truly unique stores had to offer.
We hope that you enjoy your window shopping!
